Testing of poles to determine strength and deviation rating is defined by AS/NZS 4676 and AS/NZS 7000. A multitude of full scale destructive tests have been carried out by Dulhunty Poles to prove design and production of our poles covering our whole range of lengths and strengths.
These tests have included randomly selected samples to prove our manufacturing process is on track to satisfy clients requirements.
Other mechanical strength withstand testing includes, pull out testing of various equipment fixing screw and bolt types, testing of new products and designs is a continuing activity and tests including proof of suitability for attachment of footpath stays have also been carried out.
Dulhunty Poles also offers a load bearing pole cap which accepts 24mm threaded insulator rods and test results so far have demonstrated that it withstands the implied loads.
