Infield Handling & Storage Advice

It is advised, that whenever handling a Titan composite pole or pile, appropriate industrial gloves must be worn.

The Titan engineered cement pole requires certain handling and storage requirement that do not vastly differ from other composite poles.

Fundamentally, they rely on maintaining the manufactured circularity for strength and any forceful impacts that tend to flatten the pole is to be totally avoided. They must not be dropped from any height, bumped into hard surfaces or dragged over any ground surfaces.

The Titan is designed with an expected lifetime of service of up to 100 years, so it is important to respect all handling and storage advice, to benefit from this unique, standalone long life  product.

Use fibre slings at all times when lifting / shifting Titan poles or piles.

Correct storage is also important to gain the long life benefits of a Titan product.

There is no stipulation regarding the length of time a Titan Pole or Pile can be stored, and proper general pole storage practices should always apply with Titans. This would certainly include easy access to a selected stored pole, without causing damage to other poles in the storage stack.
