FEA and Design
All designs, including standard designs for commonly used power poles, are first assessed by Finite Element Analysis (FEA) before construction of prototypes.
Improvement and innovations proposed by customers can be modelled and considered so that likely changes to processing or material content can be predicted in advance.
In common with most engineered products, a wide range of properties can be produced and the preliminary analysis allows informed decision making regarding construction cost and benefit.
Typical FEA diagrams for power pole include identification of stress levels and deflection.
